Description :
This position is responsible for the implementation and follow through of all domestic and international regulatory requirements established by the Regulatory Affairs group of the Sherwin-Williams Company including chemical inventories, developing label precautionary language based on raw material and formula information and review of labels, data entry of VOC information into databases for product lockouts, assist in developing hazard statements for material safety data sheets for domestic and international use (US, Canada, EU and South America based on current regulatory requirements), maintenance of toxicological databases in the HEARS system, review of NAFTA compliance of raw materials and entry of information into databases, classification of products for shipping and data entry of DOT shipping information into HEARS system for proper shipping of products domestically and internationally. Assist Director with other Regulatory Affairs responsibilities including TSCA, REACH and chemical inventory program development, Sustainability and Green initiatives and following developing global regulations.
5 years Regulatory experience, preferably in paints and coatings and experience with chemicals used in these areas. Bachelor of Science degree required, candidates with chemistry degree will be given preference.
